Four months later and I’m going to throw my thoughts down on paper.

So glad I bought this thing and it served me well this last semester. I only wish I had bought one sooner. I’ve had a lot of fun sharpening my Linux skills on this little device. It made the raspberry pie Monero and Flipper zero project much easier to complete.

In terms of performance it exceeded my expectations. Battery life is fantastic and charges quickly, the keyboard is fantastic, there’s no issues with Wi-Fi drivers. The only issues I’ve had are occasionally when you close the lid and open it back up the trackpad freezes up and you have to reboot and when I watch YouTube there are lines across the screen when a video is playing. Not sure if these issues are do to the operating system or the hardware but I can look past that.

there’s no need to spend $700 on a computer if you just want to do basic tasks and you’re not afraid of Linux.
