A few years ago my friend gave me his old phone That is bent and shattered. I am a packrat when it comes to tech so I asked if I could take it. sits on my desk for over two years until today when I needed a pixel phone for a potential project. I thought just factory resetting the phone would wipe it but it turns out that’s not the case. I still had the sign in with my friends email which you would probably give me if I asked but that’s no fun. After some research I figured out that it only takes around 15 pin code attempts to lock the phone for indefinite period of time and my friend has no clue what is code could possibly be. I stumbled across a video that appeared to let you bypass this security measure by changing the language to Hindi and accessing the accessibility settings. I may attempted again but trying to match up the words made my head hurt haha.
