There are offerings would two bays but I wanted to give myself room for expansion. This is going to be inexpensive undertaking but I believe the functionality outweighs the expense. It will be easier to set up RAID, easier for my family to use and I won’t have to port forward to access the data from outside the house. With additional useful features built into the Synology software.
